Campbells is pleased to welcome Ms Tyanna Jan to our Articled Clerk Training Programme this August. Ms Jan is a graduate of the University of Kent, England, where she was awarded an LLB with Honours. She also gained her PPC from Truman Bodden Law School with Distinction. Ms Jan has worked as a paralegal at Campbells since 2019 and looks forward to continuing her career with the Firm.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Campbells so far and am very much looking forward to taking this next step in my legal career. I am excited to be learning from some of the leading lawyers in the Cayman Islands and hope to tap into and be guided by the wealth of knowledge and experience within the Firm throughout my rotations,\u201d said Ms Jan.<\/p>\n

About Campbells Articled Clerk Programme<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Campbells Articled Clerk Training Programme<\/a> offers legal and professional development to qualifying Caymanians wishing to further their career in law. It provides students with the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge by working with experienced attorneys and participate in a leading professional programme.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Articling Rotation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Articled clerks are expected to complete four \u201cseats\u201d in different practice areas with each rotation being three to six months in duration. The successful candidate will be expected to complete a minimum of one corporate and one litigation focused rotation.<\/p>\n

Mentoring<\/strong><\/h2>\n

During each seat, the articling clerk is assigned a mentor or principal whose role it is to ensure that the articling clerk receives relevant work experience. The mentor will ensure that the successful articling clerk will receive ongoing feedback on their work. There are also regularly scheduled meetings with the articling clerk to discuss their professional development and provide an opportunity for them to give feedback.<\/p>\n
