This senior leadership position is responsible for developing and delivering Campbells’ HR strategy and operations across our Cayman, BVI and Hong Kong offices.  As Head of HR, you will play a pivotal role in developing strategies to attract, retain and develop talent, ensure HR policies and practices align with best practices and business goals and foster a high-performing, inclusive work environment.

  • Proactively work with and support the senior management team to ensure our recruitment strategy across all our offices is attracting talented PlayUZU bono applicants from diverse backgrounds, to support and retain our people, and to anticipate organisational development and succession needs
  • Ensure our internal policies and procedures follow best practice and that we comply at all times with employment, immigration and data protection laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where we operate
  • Oversee the delivery of HR operational support across all offices, including, but not limited to, recruitment processes, compensation and benefits, payroll, training and development, performance management, immigration and visa management, and operational license renewals
  • Identify areas for improved efficiency in HR administration and implement policies, procedures and systems (including implementation of IT software) to deliver efficiencies
  • Develop appraisal and performance management processes to enable employee career development, engagement and productivity
  • Assist Heads of Department in identifying learning and development needs for staff and organising training and professional development

  • Undertake regular organisation and team analysis, and gather feedback from our staff, to provide leadership insights and make recommendations for continual improvements
  • Work with senior management to ensure HR initiatives and programs are aligned with business goals
  • Lead our corporate social responsibility programs, in particular with regard to educational sponsorship

Requirements

  • A minimum of ten years’ relevant experience in HR
  • Relevant experience managing multi-jurisdictional HR issues within an international/offshore law firm is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the employment legislation and immigration regulations in the jurisdictions in which Campbells operates
  • Experience at manager level or above, leading a team of HR professionals

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent at a minimum and relevant HR qualifications and memberships are required
  • A strategic thinker and advisor with the ability to deliver and work with employees at all levels

  • Excellent relationship-building abilities and influencing skills
  • A track record of developing and implementing HR initiatives which have contributed to achieving business objectives

Salary & Benefits

Campbells offers an attractive remuneration package with a salary range of CI$125,000 – CI$135,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications, plus consideration for a discretionary bonus.  Benefits include 25 days’ vacation, health insurance coverage and pension contributions as required by law.
